BBTF had an opportunity to work with the non-profit organization the Insurance Information Institute. iii.org have an important mission of informing the public about how to protect themselves. iii.org felt they could lend their expertise when people needed information the most - in the time of a disaster. The Know Your Plan app is a quick and easy tool for people to be prepared in the event of any kind of disaster. The app follows the format of a checklist tool with pre-populated lists of expert advice based on the particular scenario the user is facing. In addition, the app allows users to customize these lists, categorize and prioritize items, and share lists with people via email (your Honey Do list just got longer!). Recognizing that not all situations are imminent, the app also allows for users to create a prep list from a blank template.
