More than a Microsite
State Farm Insurance and LeBron James continue their partnership in support of his movie "More than a Game" released in theaters October 2009. This documentary is about the bond between James and his high school teammates at St. Vincent-St. Mary in Akron, Ohio. Translation LLC called upon Built by the Factory to work with State Farm to produce a microsite, online ad campaign & email marketing program. The microsite featured rarely seen video clips of LeBron James in high school and off the court. Video clips were released in stages, revealing new exclusive clips weekly. Also featured are the official music video "Stronger" by Mary J. Blige, movie trailer from Lionsgate and the commercial featuring LeBron for State Farm.
Online rich media and flash banner ads, created by the Factory were run on sites such NBA.com, Foxsports.com, AOL, MSN and across ad network channels nationwide. The visitor loyalty campaign included email updates to subscribers interested in learning when new videos have been unlocked on the website.
